„Alternativa. Fotografie. Umeni. Kreativita“ (afuk.cz) is currently looking for submissions for our 2015 annual exhibition „Touches of Time“.
The exhibition will take place (subject to confirmation, subject to changes) at the following venues:
Zirovnice Castle, Czech Republic (July – August 2015)
Chotebor Castle, Czech Republic (August – September 2015)
Additional venues being lined up for end of 2015 and for 2016 in Poland, Slovakia, Germany and the UK.
Additionally, all prints selected for the exhibition will be displayed in an online gallery at www.afuk.cz. There will be a PDF photo e-book with all exhibited prints available to buy via our website.
Submissions are open to all photographers who use film & silver-gelatin prints and alternative techniques (such as albumen, bromoils & oils, chemigrams, cyanotypes, gum bichromates, vandykes, liquid emulsions, lith prints, lumen prints, mordancage salt prints, wetplate collodions … and so on).
We are sorry, we do not accept digital entries.
The entry fee for submission is 10 GBP payable via PayPal or credit card (processed via PayPal)
To be considered please submit no more than 4 photographs from a finished or ongoing body of work. The theme for our 2015 exhibition is „Touches of Time“. You have the artistic freedom on how your work responds to the „Touches of Time“ theme.
Photographs must be maximum 9½ x 12in image size. Please include a short cohesive statement about the work and a short written bio.
The deadline for submitting your entries is 30 May 2015.
Due to the large number of submissions we cannot personally respond to all entries. However we keep all work on file for consideration for future shows. We are not able to send back submitted prints. Sorry, no exceptions.
„Alternativa. Fotogragie. Umeni. Kreativita.“ is a not-for-profit organization. Our goal is to be both an ongoing reference and a place to discover new or under represented traditional film & silver-gelatin & alternative photography work.
